I was thinking about how many pictures were taken in front of that wall? LOTS...way too many. WAY too many in my "awkward" years...that lasted decades.

I "look" back now and think...how did ANYONE in their right mind think it okay to dress me the way they did !! Firstly, Grandma would perm my hair SO TIGHT that I look like Patrick Ewing and I had the lips to match him too ! Come to think of it, I looked VERY much like Mick Jagger..but I was a girl...and I couldn't dance...or sing.

LOVE the powder blue suits. Here is my thing - I THOUGHT THESE WERE TWO WERE THE COOLEST GUYS IN HILL COUNTY.........and I still do.

I am gonna regret this !!

Last meal

Someone just asked me "PD, if you knew it was going to be your last meal, what would it consist of?" Immediately I said "My mom's pork roast, scalloped corn, mashed potatoes and iced tea"...but then I got to thinking....if I knew it was going to be my last meal I wouldn't have much of an appetite. Actually, I would demand a plate of Oxycontin and a cask of good whiskey....KIDDING, TOTALLY KIDDING PEOPLE !

When I was a little kid and sick (which was pretty much my entire childhood) my mom would make me chipped beef on toast...known at "Shit On A Shingle" in the really fancy resturants ;0)

What I don't understand is how that CRAP was supposed to make me better?? Actually, it wasn't all that bad tasting, but you had to close your eyes to eat it.

One thing that little momma of mine could cook like no other person on earth is soft boiled eggs. NO ONE HAS SURPASSED HER IMMENSE TALENT IN THE EGG DEPARTMENT !! She got them just perfect...every time !! Gooey yolks, but the white completely done.

Just a short little post today. I must get home to Fizzgig, Duncan, Henry Herbert, and Millard Clinton. HH and Millard are doing fantastic ! HH is a vibrant green color and Millard is purply. Purply...spell checks not gonna like that one !!
