Here is my ALMOST famous boyfriend

Garn Littledyke !! I think the reason I have loved him for 28 years is that he has a weirder name than me. His REAL name is Garn Littledyke. (Cut the wise cracks folks, he's heard THAT one a million times !) He has a really funky middle name also, I just can't think of it right now.

He used to play at the Wort Hotel bar alot in my youth and into my adulthood. He was mesmerizing..talent wise and wasn't bad on the eyes either. Too bad he was my dad's great friend or I would have hunted him down like a dog.

Dad and I would dance for hours while he played. We would waltz and even polka...we were both in much better shape then !! Garn would get that little twinkle in his eye when Pops and I danced...those were good memories.

I tease him about ALMOST being famous, although he has played with some big names. Waylon, Willie, Duane Eddy, Merle (yuk)...they might have made millions, but Garn is still my favorite of them all !

Go to his website and check out his deep, yummy voice. Garnlittledyke.com

My big butt follows me EVERYWHERE !!

I went up to meet one of the drivers last night to give him some paperwork (had to meet him on the Rims of Billings, as the load was too HUGE to go through town) and just had to take this picture. Again, it's me acting so stuffy and professional but once in a great I cut loose and let a little humor into my life. I will try to capture that on film one day :)

I have been reminiscing with some OLD Big Sky people. Jimmer (of the world famous Jimmer's Brass Bell) and I have shared a few memories through email. He is 85 and winters in Suprise, AZ. He makes the drive, by himself, back to Big Sky every spring. Sounds fantastic and looks even better at his age. He was always a striking man with that great white hair, and he really hasn't changed all that much.

Got a few funny emails from Gary Scheidecker...he was my "second" crush. I loved Lloyd Bartlett with every cell in my little being, and Scheidecker was a close second. Hope to see Gary soon as his mother lives here in Billings (only blocks from Polly's house) and Gary comes to visit often. We will squeeze in a visit one of these days.

My recovery is pretty much over. I feel better than before my surgery. Well, I had a little set back when I opened the damn bill, but that too shall pass.

Have a great weekend all...love everyone of you.

How to properly wash between your toes....

Tutorial by Duncan Tyrone Poindexter. Follow picture above. Repeat if necessary.

The big winner of the gold star is cousin TOMMY ALLEN !! His guess on the square footage of the ranch house was 1800. It was actually between 1750-1800...no "firm" number is known. We will give it to Tommy, but if it was The Price Is Right, Denny would be spinning the big wheel.....

I kinda liked the game we played. I have to think of more questions that we could all play together...oh, this is gonna be fun.

Ever seen a tiger poop? I have !!

I went to the zoo a few days ago to watch the tiger and the eagles. I must have watched that tiger for an hour. She was "mad" and kept growling at me as she paced by...and I am pretty sure it was because she needed to poop and I was WATCHING her. Cats don't like to be observed while pooping. This is something I have learned throughout my 44 years on this earth.

Okay, now to the guessing on ranch house square footage.....TOMMY ALLEN is in the lead (Well, Lynne guessed the same number but she was married to the architect so I think she is void of winning the grand prize)

I will be awarding the gold star on Monday. C'mon Karen Hammond, you can beat your big brother.......and no calling C.A. !!

Okay all....

Here is the trivia question of the day. (Polly already knows, but the rest of the cousins have to guess !)

Polly and I were speaking about the ranch house not long ago. To me it seemed HUGE !! Polly and I wondered about the square footage of the main level. I took a guess and she took a guess.

We thought we would go to the source (C.A. Poindexter designed it) to ask him what the square footage was. I have the answer...go ahead and take a stab at it.

I would love to go visit that house again, but I am afraid it just wouldn't be the same. I know that I would go RIGHT to the refridgerator and get into the bottom drawer to look for carrots and bleu cheese dressing (I actually hated that crap)..or salami and Indian cheese !! Now that I loved.

Do you know that I could "sneak" black licorice from the cabinet under the china hutchy thing...and I stole a few cigarettes too. Grandma would keep her LONG L&M's down there. I went behind the barn one time and lit one up.....guess who smelled it? H.H.....oh shit, I thought I was dead !!

I stole a pack of cigarettes from Bruce Toole once. I took them from the BACK of the carton and when he got down to the end of the carton he looked at me real quizzical. Why didn't Polly and Kelly get that look? I still can't figure it out :)

COOOOOL !

I love my cousin Denny...I love all my cousins, but that Burke Denley Allen is the cat's meow.

I love that picture of us (look at how big my freaking mouth is...that was certainly a "hint" of what was to come, eh?)

As much as all you folks comment on my memomy, it's a damn shame I can't remember where that picture was taken. Somewhere in the ranch house (due to that damn badger or whatever that animal is on the wall) and I suspect it was in the basement.

Funny though, I can still remember the smell of the basement, and I pine to smell it again. Whenever anyone asks me what my favorite smell is, my first thought is gun oil...that's odd, but true.

And my memory isn't all that good anymore (too much cannibis intake) but I remember what's important. Gun oil and my cousins are a good place to start.....

Talk to you soon. I am just coming in to work for a few hours each day. Love you all and I am healing fantastically. Really enjoying people bringing me good food over, so I "fake it" when the doorbell rings. Kidding...kind of.
