Here is the dealio on my surgery

I go in for a pre-op appointment on Thursday March 20th at noon. My surgery is set for Friday, March 21st. I have to be at the hospital early (Polly Ann is taking me) and will be spending one night in the hospital. I will be released around noon on Saturday.

I will be home for a few weeks, I would imagine.

My favorite cousin Denny will put a blog or two in during my absence. Again, his imagination is a little wild and he has a tendency to "skew" facts when it comes to story telling......oops, again that is ME !!

I really don't know what kind of "P.D." stories he has. All I know is that he used to TOSS me in the horse trough (with bugs floating in it) Oh, and he offered me my first dip of "Red Man" tobacco...when I was about seven years old. I didn't take it (I am quite certain he wouldn't have let me take it !)

He did teach me how to drive over the "bridge" at the ranch. It really wasn't much of a bridge that crossed the spillway. To me, it seemed like two balance beams were stretched over the spillway and you had to line your tires "JUST RIGHT" or plop...you would be in the drink. WITH THE SCARY WATER SNAKES ! Now I could cross that bridge with my eyes closed, but when you can't see over the dashboard, it's a little spooky.

That brings me to my next story, but it will have to wait until later. It's about my best friend and her PHOBIA of driving into a "Master Lube" or any of those places. She makes the guys pull her car in as she is petrified that she is going to drive it into the little pit the guy stands in. And, those automatic car washes that move your car along...(while you are in neutral).....oh, that's a good one. She about had a coronary at age 24...and her best friend (me) was in the passenger seat laughing so hard that I was of NO help.
